Job overview
Lasting health changes start with realistic goals and steady support. As a Remote Health Coach (Entry Level) you will help participants set achievable health goals, work through barriers and build sustainable habits, using motivational interviewing and a warm, non-judgmental approach.
No prior health coaching experience is needed. Paid training covers behavior-change frameworks, motivational interviewing, coaching platforms, documentation and privacy basics. The specific program, participants and scope depend on the team you join.
This opportunity may suit people searching for entry level health coach jobs, remote health coach jobs, work-from-home health coaching jobs, or no experience healthcare coaching jobs.
No Experience Required: We'll Train You
No prior health coaching experience is required, and a healthcare certification is not required for some roles. Employers provide paid training on coaching methodology, behavior-change frameworks, motivational interviewing and HIPAA, and you learn the work step by step. Many coaches come from wellness, fitness, teaching, counseling or customer service roles. Some employers may prefer a health coaching certification, so confirm in your interview.
Structured Remote Work with Predictable Hours
Coaching runs on scheduled participant sessions and follow-ups, usually weekday daytime, with some programs adding evening sessions to match participant availability. Both full-time and part-time positions are offered, with no in-person requirements. Discuss your preferred schedule in your interview.
Non-clinical coaching role, scope of practice and privacy first
Health Coaches do not diagnose, treat or prescribe. Clinical concerns, medical questions and situations that need clinical judgment are escalated to clinical teams per the employer's protocol. You will handle names, contact details, health goals and health conditions, so employers train you on HIPAA awareness and expect strict confidentiality.
