Job overview
Patients and providers want a clear answer about where a claim stands. As a Remote Claims Support Representative you will handle claim status inquiries by phone, chat and email, explain claim outcomes, EOBs and remittance advice, and route denial, appeal and resubmission questions to the right team.
No prior healthcare, insurance or claims experience is needed. Paid training covers claim status workflows, EOB and remittance basics, claims systems and HIPAA basics. Claim types and scope depend on the team you join.
This opportunity may suit people searching for claims support representative jobs, remote claims support jobs, work-from-home claims customer service jobs, or no experience healthcare jobs.
No Experience Required: We'll Train You
No prior healthcare, insurance or claims experience is required. Employers provide paid training on claims workflows, denial explanations, claims systems, call handling and HIPAA, and you learn the work step by step. Many representatives come from customer service, call center, insurance, banking or administrative roles.
Structured Remote Work with Predictable Hours
Claims support runs on scheduled phone, chat and email queues, usually weekday daytime, with no on-call and no in-person requirements. Both full-time and part-time positions are offered. Discuss your preferred schedule in your interview.
Non-clinical role, privacy first
This is an administrative role. It does not involve clinical decisions. Claim discrepancies and issues needing supervisor input are escalated per the employer's protocol. You will handle names, contact details, claim and insurance details and provider information, so employers train you on HIPAA awareness and expect strict confidentiality.
