Job overview
Revenue cycle leaders make better decisions when billing data is clean and clearly presented. As a Remote Billing Data Analyst you will pull and validate billing data, track revenue cycle KPIs, build dashboards and reports, analyze trends and present insights to leadership.
No prior healthcare or revenue cycle experience is needed. Paid training covers billing and RCM data, key metrics, reporting tools and HIPAA basics. Tools and scope depend on the team you join.
This opportunity may suit people searching for billing data analyst jobs, remote billing analytics jobs, work-from-home revenue cycle analyst jobs, or no experience healthcare data jobs.
No Experience Required: We'll Train You
No prior healthcare or revenue cycle experience is required. Employers provide paid training on billing data, RCM KPIs, spreadsheets, BI and reporting tools and HIPAA, and you learn the work step by step. Many analysts come from billing, reporting, data entry or administrative roles. Some employers may prefer analytics certifications, so confirm in your interview.
Structured Remote Work with Predictable Hours
Billing analytics runs on recurring reporting cycles and month-end deadlines, usually weekday daytime, with no on-call and no in-person requirements. Both full-time and part-time positions are offered. Discuss your preferred schedule in your interview.
Non-clinical role, data privacy first
This is an analytical and administrative role. It does not involve clinical decisions. You will work with names, medical record numbers, dates of service, procedure codes, payer IDs and financial data, so employers train you on HIPAA awareness and expect strict confidentiality. Data discrepancies and issues affecting reporting accuracy are escalated per the employer's protocol.
